Person Centred Counselling is a humanistic, non-judgmental approach that empowers you to find the answers within. The person-centered approach is fully supportive. A safe supportive space is held for you. I want you to remember - you are the expert. I am a space holder to walk alongside you on the journey of healing and self-discovery. My first experience of counselling was when I was a counsellor in training. I went through 30 hours of personal therapy that helped me to process childhood trauma, feelings of unworthiness, rewrite many limiting beliefs and years of conditioning. I was able to let go of anger, resentment and self-destructive tendencies. I gained the tools to cultivated love and compassion for myself and others. One of the most powerful things I learnt was how to transmute anger into passion and use it as a driving force. Fueling my purpose instead of self-destruction. Counselling provides a safe space to be heard. Its easy to feel lost with all of the things; past, present and future. Overwhelming the mind, worries and stressors of everyday life. Sometimes we just need to sound it out, gain clarity and reducing the pressure. COUNSELLING CAN HELP YOU: Overcome depression, anxiety, grief and stress Strengthen trust in yourself and others Create deeper self-awareness and become more conscious Reduce feelings of shame and insecurity Boost self-esteem and confidence Overcome trauma and abuse MY EXPERTISE: Stress Management Trauma Informed Therapy Relationship Breakdowns Abuse Family Separation/Co-Parenting Grief & Loss Anxiety & Depression Innerchild Work Anger Management Addiction Personal Development/Self Improvement Sexuality/Identity Spiritual Development Health Throughout my professional career I had the opportunity to gain extensive experience in the UK community sector, Counselling therapy within the alcohol and drug sector. Running pre-detox programs, facilitating art therapy groups and aftercare. Moving to Australia further development led me to disability services, supporting children, adults and age care in community coordination and team leader roles. I finished my professional community work supporting children in child protective services under a trauma informed framework. Community continues to be one of my heart passions and the underpinning of relationships.
